1978年至1988年在西北工业大学材料科学与工程学院攻读学士、硕士和博士学位，获工学博士学位后留校任教。

1994年调入上海交通大学金属基复合材料国家重点实验室工作至今。

研究方向二 材料的力学性能

研究情况：

在西北工业大学的研究方向为航空金属材料（超高强度钢、钛合金等）的组织和性能。调入上海交大后从事金属基复合材料以及材料的力学性能等方面的科研及教学工作。
