主要从事生物微纳米材料的研究、应用和开发工作,至今已经发表SCI论文160余篇,申请了国内外发明专利60余项。致力于拓展多学科交叉的医工联合研究和产业技术集成创新的合作共赢平台,加速生物医用材料的临床应用及其产业化。
曾获上海市启明星、上海市科技创业领军人物、太仓市创新创业领军人物、苏州市创新创业领军人物、江苏省创新创业领军人物,2005年获上海市教学成果二等奖,2013年获国家教育部的高等学校科学研究优秀成果专利类二等奖(排名第一),2016年获上海市研究生优秀成果(优秀论文)“上海市优秀博士论文”(作为指导教师),2017年获第三届全国大学生微结构摄影大赛“优秀指导教师”,2018年获上海市统一战线(工作)先进个人,2019年获致公党中央“优秀党员”、致公党上海市委员会社会服务工作“先进组织者”、致公党上海市委员会主题教育活动“不忘合作初心,继续携手前进”先进个人,2020年获致公党上海市委员会抗击新冠肺炎疫情先进个人等称号。
